Welcome to the Ciprian Porumbescu International Composition Competition! Congratulations on your choice to participate in this competition! From the first edition we want to become a significant competitive event in the international music-composition life. We also aim to bring to the public’s attention the repertoire of the national composition school as well as to promote the creation of the great composer Ciprian Porumbescu. The winners of the contest will receive cash prizes and promotion. The winning work in the Composition Section of this year’s Ciprian Porumbescu Competition will be performed during the season of a Romanian Philharmonic. Success!
